United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) commissioner Kristin N. Johnson was named the sponsor of the agency’s Market Risk Advisory Committee (MRAC) on Tuesday. She replaced CFTC chair Rostin Behnam in that role. Johnson was nominated to be a CFTC commissioner by U.S. President Joe Biden in September 2021, at the same time as commissioner Christy Goldsmith Romero and was nominated and acting chairman Behnam was nominated to chair the commission permanently. Major Ethereum blockchain analytics platform Nansen continues scaling its operations by acquiring a cross-chain decentralized finance (DeFi) tracker. Nansen has acquired the multi-chain portfolio tracker Ape Board in an eight-figure deal, the firm announced to Cointelegraph on May 17.
