Popular crypto analytics platforms Etherscan and CoinGecko have parallelly issued an alert against an ongoing phishing attack on their platforms. CoinGecko challenges CoinMarketCap’s dominance as a crypto market resource

The gap is narrowing between crypto analytics providers CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko when it comes to the number of website visits each receives per month. According to a Dec. 1 report from news outlet The Ken, CoinGecko had 20.6 million monthly desktop and mobile visitors as of October, compared with CoinMarketCap’s 29 million. CoinGecko Adds Crypto Exchanges’ Cybersecurity Ratings to Trust Score

Cryptocurrency market data aggregator CoinGecko has updated its Trust Score algorithm to consider the cybersecurity standards of the more than 400 cryptocurrency exchanges listed on its platform. CoinGecko Unveils Exchange ‘Trust Score’ to Fight Fake Volume Data

Crypto market data aggregator CoinGecko has a unveiled a new “trust score” for its system of ranking exchanges.
