Iran to begin ‘crypto rial’ CBDC trial despite possible lack of infrastructure: Report

The Central Bank of Iran will make a pilot launch of a central bank digital currency (CBDC) on Sept. 22, the Iranian Chamber of Commerce has announced. Argentinian town to invest in crypto mining to fight inflation and upgrade infrastructure

The town of Sorradino in Argentina’s Santa Fe Province could begin to mine crypto in a bid to raise the money needed for its rail infrastructure upgrade.
